Stone Island is expanding the possibilities of denim with its new “Denim Research” project for Fall/Winter 2025. This collection embodies the brand’s signature technical design and commitment to innovation, creating unconventional denim styles.

Each piece in the collection is crafted from special denim textiles, including Polypropylene Denim, David Light Indigo-TC, and Micro Corduroy, alongside traditional Japanese raw selvedge denim. The entire collection includes outerwear, overshirts, utility vests, and both classic and Penta jeans. A newly designed black badge with a blue compass logo and nickel shank badge buttons pays tribute to denim tradition.

Stone Island first utilised denim in a 1984 collection and later developed items under the “Stone Island Denims” name, starting from the Fall/Winter 2001 collection. However, this line was later discontinued.

Priced from ¥64,900 to ¥154,000 JPY (approx. $440 to $1040 USD), the “Denim Research” collection is now available for pre-sale at the Stone Island Tokyo Aoyama store and a pop-up on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men’s Building until October 7. It will then be available at other directly managed stores nationwide and the official online store from October 16.
